The Danish layout depicts a section of the East Jutland main line with a branch line and a private railway. The layout shows the stretch from Aarhus to Laurbjerg and includes the towns of Hadsten, Lerbjerg, and Laurbjerg, as well as the fictional towns of Aarhus Å and Langå. Originally, from Laurbjerg, the branch line known as “the crooked line” departed, leading via Silkeborg to Bramming. Thorsø was the first major station on this line and is interesting because the Aarhus Hammel Thorsø Railway (AHTJ) connected there, allowing us to run both state railway rolling stock and private railway rolling stock.
The AHTJ section has also been put into operation with service to Skovby Station. The latter is a passing station, which makes the traffic more fun, as trains cross there since they cannot pass each other on the single-track line winding through the landscape.
